Today

So today is my first official Blog...so much to say to a blank screen with nothing in return. Just vomiting up whatever synaptic releases enter my brain.
Guess I will write today about motherhood.
Hmm.....has its ups and downs...
I've been a mother for almost 20 years if you count the in utero time of my first born.
I have three very unique and special girls. My two older ones are 20 months apart. I cannot remember having one without the other, however, I still remember vividly as if it were yesterday holding my first born in my arms. The feeling of cradling such a miracle still sustains me during trying times with this now grown child.
So here are some random thoughts ...

Kids will eat anything if you put sugar on it.

Listening is a more important skill than talking.

Your kids always need you, even when it isn't convenient.

Everything is always urgent, especially that last minute trip to the store to get the missing whatever for the assignment due tomorrow.

Even the best behaved child will misbehave just when you least expect it.

No matter how determined you are, you do turn into your mother.
